Actually, my mom still is cool. And stylish, too.
But this photo shows her at a time when she was really cool – and in her stride.
And she looks so happy. I was pretty small then. And I remember just glimpses of that life.. or more likely my memories are probably based on stories this happy lady told me about what happened back then.

Perfect Moment Project 
I have to tell you all that my mom just called me to say she read this post and loved it. She does not remember ever seeing this photo. My brother found it with some other photos of him as a kid and scanned this one in. She seemed happy to see the photo and touched that I connected to her happy times.. ones she shared with me.

I got a glimpse of the YA YA sisterhood or something equally cool and sassy…like an Anne Rivers Siddons novel. I love this and how you just adore your mom ….perfect indeed. 🙂
